The classic Marchesi 1824 dough—crafted slowly and expertly using only natural sourdough starter—is made with carefully selected low-lactose ingredients. Fine elements such as six-crown raisins, naturally candied fruit, Madagascar Bourbon vanilla, Italian honey, and free-range eggs ensure authentic taste and quality. Compared with common yeasts, sourdough production requires more time and care to allow microorganisms to develop, providing multiple beneficial qualities and a unique flavor. Storage conditions: store in a cool, dry place. Expiry date: 60 days.
