This 1 kg grand leavened cake offers a delicate, fresh taste thanks to premium ingredients such as naturally candied Sicilian orange peel, Madagascar Bourbon vanilla, Italian honey and free-range eggs, all brought together in a slowly leavened dough using the exclusive Marchesi 1824 sourdough starter. Compared with common yeasts, sourdough requires more time and care to allow microorganisms to develop, imparting multiple beneficial qualities and a unique flavour.
