Prada launches the festive season with a campaign centred around the timeless beauty of a set table. Fine porcelain, precious crystal and the artisanal creations of Marchesi 1824 enrich the atmosphere, transforming each scene into a unique universe.
The same elements can be found in the creations of Marchesi 1824, which for the occasion has created a selection of sweets that complement the aesthetics of the Prada Holiday campaign. The protagonists are the decorated Panettoni, symbol of the craftsmanship and tradition of the historic Milanese pastry shop.
Result of two centuries of passion and research, the great leavened cakes offer a delicate and fresh taste, thanks to fine ingredients such as six-crown sultanas, naturally candied fruit, Bourbon vanilla from Madagascar, Italian honey and eggs from free-range hens. The result is a slow-rising dough, prepared exclusively with Marchesi 1824 sourdough. The fully decorated versions created for the Prada Holiday campaign are enriched with a covering of butter cream and almond paste, embellished with the iconic triangles. Each decoration is handmade by pastry chefs, using the traditional cornetto technique to create the elegant doodles.
The table is also enriched with tiered cakes, adorned with Christmas trees and almond paste bears. The layered monoportions, made with sponge cake and custard, follow the same aesthetic.
To complete the table, Marchesi 1824's classic and crumbly biscuits, such as occhi di bue - enriched with apricot jam - baci di dama and the delicious krumiri, evoking the typical sweetness of the festive season.
In this narrative, each element becomes the spokesperson for a story, united by a common thread: attention to detail and craftsmanship.
