Marchesi 1824 chocolate enters a new phase with a new line of pralines and chocolate bars, developed within the Chocolate Laboratory.
At the heart of the collection is Gran Cuvée Venezuela 74%, an intense and elegant dark chocolate chosen as the basis for research exploring the relationship between cocoa, ingredients and textures.
The new praline line stands out first and foremost for its distinctive octagonal shape, the new signature of Marchesi 1824 chocolate making. A thin shell encloses a soft centre, creating a contrast between the crisp texture of the chocolate and the creaminess of the filling.
The collection spans a broad spectrum of flavours: yogurt, coconut, peanut, liquorice, coffee, Oro di Langa, caramel, citrus, pistachio and amaretto. Each pairing allows the character of the cocoa to emerge in a new nuance every time.
Alongside the pralines, the collection introduces a selection of filled chocolate bars, where a chocolate shell meets a creamy coffee and vanilla or strawberry and yogurt centre. Two interpretations built on the contrast between intensity, sweetness and softness.
A collection built around contrasts and harmonies: creaminess and crispness, roasted and fruity notes, intensity and sweetness. A new way of expressing Marchesi 1824 chocolate, beginning with the raw ingredient and shaped through the work of the Chocolate Laboratory.
