Marchesi 1824 celebrates its bicentenary with an exclusive new creation: a volume published by Assouline, retracing the history of the pastry shop and telling the story of the deep bond that Marchesi 1824 has built with the city of Milan over the course of its two hundred years. Together with the book, the box contains a 25-piece selection of fruit jellies. Soft and juicy, Marchesi 1824 fruit jellies are produced according to traditional artisanal methods, using a mix of fresh fruit and essential oils. They are coated with delicate sugar crystals that enhance their flavour.
