An editorial and sensory journey in four acts that unveils the secrets of the Marchesi 1824 laboratory, transforming chocolate into a contemporary cultural experience.
"Marchesi 1824 – Chocolate Chronicles” is an editorial and storytelling project that reinterprets chocolate as a creative and cultural language, transforming raw material into narrative. At the heart of the story is the new Gran Cuvée Venezuela 74% cocoa mass, an exclusive selection of beans sourced from the prestigious area south of Lake Maracaibo, processed to preserve a deep, balanced, and enveloping aromatic profile, with a cocoa percentage carefully calibrated to enhance intensity and elegance.
Marchesi 1824 thus brings attention to the pure essence of the raw ingredient, exploring the relationship between the quality of the cocoa and the final result in chocolate. This element forms the narrative axis of the story, positioning the selection of Venezuelan beans as a symbol of excellence in the pursuit of origin and ingredient quality.
At the heart of the project is the collaboration with Apartamento, the renowned publishing house behind the eponymous magazine founded in Barcelona in 2008, internationally recognized for its intimate and deeply personal portraits of creative figures. Under its creative and editorial direction, Chocolate Chronicles came to life. The quarterly print magazine, inspired by classic newspapers, The Chocolate Chronicles transforms tasting into an immersive experience. Available in Marchesi 1824 pastry shops, the publication offers insights, curiosities about raw materials, and fresh perspectives on gastronomic culture.
"Chocolate Chronicles" celebrates the excellence and innovation of Marchesi 1824 creations through pralines, chocolate bars, and new chocolate delights, turning each ingredient into a story. The project combines publishing, design, and artisanal mastery, inviting the audience to step into the laboratory and immerse themselves in a world where chocolate becomes an expression of creativity and culture.
