With the third edition of The Chocolate Chronicles, the collaboration between Marchesi 1824 and Apartamento continues by broadening its perspective: an editorial project that goes beyond telling the story of a product, creating a context where material, aesthetics, and contemporary sensibility come together. In this new chapter, chocolate becomes a lens through which to experience the summer season from a different perspective—lighter yet deeply expressive—where the freshness of the ingredients meets the depth of cocoa.

The protagonists of this edition are the new ice cream cups crafted with Marchesi Gran Cuvée Venezuela 74% chocolate, interpreting cocoa as the structural foundation for summer-inspired compositions. Three variations built around distinct balances: raspberry, yogurt, and basil; apricot compote, almonds, and honey; cold coffee, whipped cream, and hazelnuts.

Alongside these creations, a new selection of summer pralines develops a vocabulary of contrasts and harmonies. Raspberry & Pistachio, Citrus & Hazelnut, Sour Cherry & Dark Cremino, and Apricot & Almond create small universes of flavour, where fruity notes, the richness of creamy fillings, and coatings of dark or milk chocolate come together in a refined and contemporary balance.

 

In this third edition, The Chocolate Chronicles continues to evolve as a visual and narrative journal dedicated to the world of Marchesi 1824. Once again, the laboratory opens as a space for observation and interpretation, where chocolate becomes a cultural medium capable of moving across seasons, languages, and diverse sensibilities.
