In this large leavened cake, fresh Piedmont chestnuts are naturally candied in a water and sugar syrup that enhances their flavor and texture. Together with Madagascar Bourbon vanilla, the chestnuts are then blended into the classic Marchesi 1824 dough, produced through a slow and skillful process using exclusively sourdough starter. Storage conditions: store in a cool, dry place. Expiration date: 90 days.
